Atatürk Cultural Center

Atatürk Kültür Merkezi is also called as AKM, is a multi-purpose cultural center located in Taksim Square of İstanbul, Turkey.  The complex comprises the "Grand Stage", a hall with a 1,307 seat capacity for opera, ballet and theater events and the "Concert Hall", a second hall with a capacity of 502 seats for concerts, meetings and conferences as well as an exhibition hall of 1,200 m² at the entrance. There are also the "Chamber Theatre" with 296 seats, "Aziz Nesin Stage" with 190 seats and a cinema hall with 206 seats.

IGKM is a pleasure ground beyond comparison. With its 3 pyramid domes in a marquee structure it has a covered usage area of 7500 square meters. The skeleton of the structure is constituted on 16 exterior stands, building up 3, 40 meter high bearing arches. At the same time this arches give the visitors a feeling of being in an artificial space. This centre has a capacity to welcome 5000 viewers and a 30 square meters area for the mixer. This impressive centre, with its possibility to record from 8 different points, a 14x10 meters projection and a stage with huge measurements.
