Itinerary:  Istanbul / Cappadocia / Kahta / Harran

 

Day 01: Arrival in Istanbul
Upon arrival at Atatürk International Airport, meet with your professional license tour guide and assisted transfer to the selected hotel. Arrive hotel and walking orientation tour of hotel and the area. The rest of the day is at leisure.

Day 02: Istanbul / Full day Sightseeing tour
Meet your tour guide at hotel lobby for a full day to discover the fantastic city Istanbul.
Today our visits include Roman Hippodrome, Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia, Topkapi Palace and Grand Bazaar. Evening is at leisure.
Meal: Breakfast, Lunch

Day 03:  Istanbul / Kayseri / Cappadocia
Today pick up from your hotel and transfer to Ataturk Airport for the morning flight to Kayseri. Upon arrival, meet with your local tour guide for a sightseeing tour of Uçhisar Castle and Goreme open air museum. Later we will check-in to the hotel, and walking orientation tour of the hotel area.  Overnight is at selected hotel in Cappadocia.

Day 04: Cappadocia / Full day Sightseeing Tour
Departure in the morning to visit Paşabağı (Fairy Chimneys), Zelve( Cave Village), Avanos (Pottery )At hand-craft center, you will get introduced to the regional crafts, learning all major aspects of carpet-weaving and pottery-making, then we will visit Kaymaklı (underground City). Later we will transfer to our hotel. Overnight is at selected hotel in Cappadocia.

Day 05: Cappadocia / Kahta
After breakfast we will depart from hotel to transfer to Kahta. On the way to Kayseri we will visit the 13th century Seljukian Caravanserai "Karatayhan". The next stop will be in Pınarbaşı for a short tea break than we will drive to Tekir for Lunch on own. You can take pictures of the beautiful scenery of the Tekir Valley. Later drive to Kahraman Maraş to have the world famous ice cream, than arrival to Kahta. We will check-in the selected hotel in Nemrut.

Day 06: Kahta / Harran
This morning we will depart from hotel very early in the morning to visit the ruins and catch the sun rise.
We will walk twenty minutes climbing on foot to the top where we will watch the beautiful sun rise between the colossal size statues and heads of Kings and Gods. We will have our best shots. After our visit up to ruins we will transfer back to hotel for breakfast.
After breakfast we will drive to Kahta on the way we will visit the ruins of the Arsemia Roman Bridge
of Cendere and Tümülüs Tomb of Karakuş. Later drive to Şanlı Urfa-Harran on the way visit Ataturk Dam which is the biggest dam in Middle East. We will check-in the selected hotel in Harran.

Day 07: Harran / Istanbul
After Breakfast  visit Abrahams Cave and the Pools of Holy Carp surrounding it, then walk around oriental covered bazaar drive to Harran a village of Spell binding Mud-Birck "beehive" houses mentioned in the book of genesis where Abraham spend last years of his life.
Visit the ruins of Harran including city walls, oldest Islamic university and the castle dated to eighteen century.

After the sun set drive back to Şanlıurfa Airport for homebound flight.
